"About Killa Time

They call me Killa Time because when I was 13 I used to kick rhymes in my hood (Cooper Houses) and I did this freestyle to the DOA anthem by Jay-Z. I said “Killa Time is K.T., if you put it in a acronym.” All my homies used to call me K.T. Cause those were my initials to my real name. So hearing that line out in the park blasting from the OG Bones system they immediately took heed to the name Killa Time and the rest was history!

I grew up in Brooklyn, Ny. Started off in Coney Island with my pops. Lived there till I was about 5 then my mother picked up and left to bushwick projects because my father was always busy on tour all over the country. Then from Bushwick projects I moved right up the block from Cooper projects in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. My passion for hip hop came from Neptune Ave I used to visit my Haitian family who lived on a block filled with tons of talent. In that house me and my cousin used to Break Dance, freestyle, DJ, make beats, and listen to every new hip hop CD or grab mixtapes from the bootleg man up the block. Hearing tons of different artists and styles made me want to create and try to exceed their brilliance as a kid. So I never stopped writing rhymes since I was 8yrs old. Hence why you have me in the flesh ready to create and become the biggest artist I can be!!!

-Killa

**Killa Time**—the name resonates with a legacy rooted in the streets of Brooklyn. It all began at the age of 13, when I started freestyling in my neighborhood, Cooper Houses. The turning point came during a freestyle session to Jay-Z’s “DOA (Death of Auto-Tune),” where I cleverly coined the phrase, “Killa Time is K.T., if you put it in an acronym.” The name “Killa Time” stuck, and from that moment, it became a defining part of my identity, inspired by my initials, K.T.

My journey began in Brooklyn, New York. I spent my early years in Coney Island, living with my father until I was five. After that, my mother and I moved to the Bushwick Projects, where I spent much of my childhood. Eventually, we settled near Cooper Projects in Williamsburg. My passion for hip-hop was sparked during visits to my Haitian family on Neptune Avenue. The vibrant talent on that block influenced me deeply, from breakdancing and freestyling to DJing, making beats, and absorbing every new hip-hop track and mixtape.

Growing up surrounded by such diverse artistic expressions fueled my desire to create. I’ve been writing rhymes since I was eight years old, always striving to surpass the brilliance of the artists I admired. Today, that same drive fuels my ambition to rise to the top and make my mark as one of the greatest artists in the industry.
